The FUTSAL EURO  Group B qualifying matches start off today at the Corradiino Sports Pavillion, with hosts Malta taking on the powerful team representing Georgia.

Malta will be pitting their strength and vying for further progress in the Futsal Euro Championship 2013-14 Mini Tournament Group B when they come up against Georgia and Moldova between today Wednesday, 23 January, and Saturday at the Corradino Sports Complex, Paola.

Our team should be on their best behaviour in order to reach their objective as both Georgia and Moldova have strong squads and will definitely entertain strong hopes of proceeding to the next stage of the competition.

Recent results obtained by our national team in a friendly tournament when we beat Greece and lost narrowly to England should boost our prospects in the matches ahead, especially in the wake of good preparation in the past months under the guidance of coach Kevin Mifsud and his technical team.
